I'm applying for JET! finally!!! Too bad you're not there anymore. Is Yakushima buggy? I might ask for placement there. Or Matsuyama where my friend/roommate Melissa lives/works for JET. I like rural areas. Good painting references in your backyard! Where do you live now? come visit SF!!!

You can ask for Yakushima but I doubt you'll get it for a couple reasons. For one, I don't think there are going to be any empty spots and two, JET doesn't send you anywhere you want to go. If you ask for rural that's probably what you'll get though. I'll be back in SF this January, at least that's the current plan.
