Garlic

Garlic. Its more expensive to buy one than it is to buy four.

Brush practice

Postcard watercolors. These are a few of my most recent postcards. There is a postcard painting class I attend once a month.

Wow! The garlic looks great! Your painting really does give the garlic skin a satiny sheen.

yes the garlic is so good and looks so real, I have it on my desktop photo. The watercolors are really nice, they are just as good as the ones in the book I gave you. Very pretty. I really like the bird too.

ありがとう、ともこのママ。今度又野菜か果物を書いたらのせるからね。ともこのママのアジサイも描きたいな~。

Thanks Honest. I'm honored that you would take time out while planning your wedding to comment on my garlic.

I'm doing a few practice drawings from the book. Can't wait to paint with you mom.

hehe, commenting takes no time at all and it's really great to see your dedication to practicing (quite inspiring really) and how you've progressed as a result. It's truly amazing! :P

As for me and painting, I'm just ashamed that I haven't taken enough time out to paint as much as I should, because really, wedding planning doesn't take THAT much time out of my life. :(

On the bright side, I have been doing more basic drawing and monochromatic studies and oh! the Academy of Art University is offering free 3-week summer workshops one of which I've been admitted to. So in the next month I'll be taking Painting, and I hope that will respark some creativity.

Take care.
