A kind of sketch I did on photoshop. I haven't been painting or drawing much lately, hopefully I'll get back into it soon. It's frustrating because I really want to improve but I have no structured way of studying art here on the island.It's spring break which means I have no classes for the next two weeks. However, I do have to go into the local office of the Board of Education despite having absolutely nothing to do there.

It's from a photo. Not much imagination went into this. I'll try to put some imagination stuff up soon though.

You'll have no idea who I met yesterday. Brandon Martynowicz, a 3D environment artist for LucasArts. He's my neighbor who lives like two blocks from my house.
I was sketching on a hill one block from my house when he was passing by and stopped to talk to me. He came from SoCal, went to Otis College of Art and Design majored in Digital Media. His friend/fellow classmate Chin Ko applied for a concept artist pos at LucasArts and got hired, and reeled Brandon in for their 3D environmental artist position. Said like 80% of LucasArts employees get hired through networks. His website is

That's really cool about the 3d artist you met. Wish I could meet some people like that around here. You should ask him if he goes to sketch-crawl or anything.
