Here you can see the island where I will be teaching in Japan. It has a diameter of about 20 miles. You can zoom out to get a better idea of the location and size.

I'm visiting my mom in Spokane, WA before I leave for Japan. On a bridge leading downtown there was this wonderful sign. I think the city is only "near" perfect due to its affinity for front yard blow up pools and meth labs. Aside from that though...
